You drive home unaware when a sudden accident leaves your car broken. Stranded and searching for help, you stumble upon a remote chalet hidden deep in the woods.
Alone and uncertain, you must uncover the secrets of this place to survive and find a way to escape.

Gameplay focuses on exploration and puzzle-solving, drawing players into a tense and immersive atmosphere. Chalet is a first-person horror exploration game with escape-room elements. The average completion time is around 1–2 hours.

Step into the shoes of a stranded traveler whose car breaks down after a sudden accident on a remote forest road. Alone and uncertain, you discover an old chalet hidden deep within the forest. What first appears to be a place of refuge soon reveals itself to be filled with strange occurrences and unsettling secrets.

Explore the rooms of the chalet, uncover scattered notes that reveal the story of its mysterious inhabitants, and find hidden clues to aid your progress. Solve puzzles involving switches, codes, and hidden mechanisms to unlock new areas. Throughout your journey, a dark presence lingers in the shadows, creating moments of tension and unexpected scares.

With atmospheric visuals, immersive ambient sound design, and a narrative told through the notes you discover, Chalet invites players to piece together its haunting story and find a way to escape.

⚠️ Before You Start

Chalet is designed to be experienced in a single, uninterrupted playthrough. There is no save or checkpoint system.

The game is currently available in English only. There are no language options or translations available.

Please make sure you have around 1–2 hours of free time before starting your journey.

Developer's Note

Chalet was my very first game and an important learning experience as a solo developer.

I designed and modeled the chalet itself, as well as the surrounding terrain and environment. To bring the world to life, I also used a selection of 3D props and assets from the Unity Asset Store and Poly Haven.

While I have improved and polished the game over time, you may still encounter occasional performance issues, minor bugs, or rough edges.
